went to biz sch commencement dinner at pan pacific last night... at first i really don't wanna to go as the day before i have a presentation till really late... however my colleagues pointed out that for the past 20years or so.. the dean's office has never extended invitation to departments and we are the ones doing most of the workk so we should not miss it.. so... despite i'm really tired till i can fall asleep anywhere.... i still went...
guess what's my critics for Pan Pacific Hotel (Singapore)....
1) the main entrance and the ballroom are really far apart... and it's in a really 'wu lu' area...
2) washroom is made up of aluminum and glass... =.=
3) the ballroom is really small
4) the services is NOT up to standard
5) the food.... thanks.. but i will only consider to try again when all other hotels are fully booked.
let me do some explanations here...
1) we have to walk a distance from the ballroom to the entrance and you can hardly find the ballroom unless you looked out for "road signs" (if any) carefully..... plus if you are unable to move around easily and needed some equipments to aid your steps... please be careful as the route to the ballroom is not very handicap friendly.
2) first time i go a hotel that has big aluminum door for every single thing inside except the glass. even the partion is made up of aluminum and glass... if you are not prepared, you may get a fight easily... plus i kept wondering whether i step into another place or sth.. okie.. i know they are trying to be unique but... it's just not.. right...
3) we have really a number of tables there and they just squeeze everyone together..
4) service there...... OH PLEASE!!! can you imagine they actually mess up the serving tables and every other things.. and instead of placing the soup properly on your table.. they half threw the bowl in front of you... half of the time they were serving.. i was thinking what to do in case the dishes got on to me... and the food was not serve as a full table... some of my colleagues have to wait really long for their share to be given to them. during the part they were serving desserts... please.... regardless how many times we highlighted to them that we still short of some plates.... in the end... one of my colleagues had to go over to another table to "steal" food .. haha...
5) 1 word will explain... MSG!!!!!! I bet they got MSG at really good price as they are really generous on adding into all their dishes...

Tea-smoked Chicken Breast and Mango Salad with Sesame Dressing
Really nice soft bread with excellent butter (the best dish of the night!)
Fiery Plum Tomato with Cumin-flavored Soup with Garlic Crouton
Pan-Grilled free-range Chicken Breast on Scallion Mash laced with a Cracked Black Pepper Glaze (I choose this one and i really not regreting!)
Pan-Roasted Dory Fillet on a bed of Oritental Vegetables laced with a light Champagne Cream
White Chocolate Citrus Roulade with Orange Sauce + Tea (As a dessert lover.. i rank this dessert 'LOW'.)
Tiramisu (I sincerely dunno the 'beautiful' name for this as i basically "stole" it from the MBA dinner.. hee.. their is much more fun... plus this dessert is really really good especially with Red Wine!)

guess what...
i already promised to be as sweet as i can even if i have to act act... but but but..

that stupid cabbage happily go "destory" our ppt slides...
and shoot me an email .. okie... i admit.. i shoot back first coz when u see the slides u cannot help to shoot as it's really too much!!
but fucking hell.. she shoot back a email directly to me.. BJ told me dun send anything back liao ... bloody hell lor.. she din come for discussion.. NVM... she goes complain behind out back.. NVM... she goes act pitiful in front of ours.. NVM...
she bloody hell go and anyhow edit our slides... bloody fucking screw her head in any 'the world most disgusting toilet bowl'... wait a min! it's unfair to the toilet bowl.. .. it may choke...

who's that person who cause me to kanna panic attack for previous module!!! sorry lor.. i juz failed to mention i have heart and breathing problem and cannot be frightened if not needed... she scared the life out of me tks to her last min changes in previous module... now she's screwing me again.. if i end up in hospital b4 the presentation, ppl who read the blog, please help me run after her life....
one thing to hAPPY... my individual essay submitted with 15% plaragism and into green zone.. wahahaaa... but if inside all screw up i screw up.. haiz...

juz now i went over to GO to find the gals for some chit chat session....
was laughing our butt off when we confirmed that the only person who doesn't know that to get through Singapore custom, we can use the thumb scan cum passport scan machine instead of q-ing up to wait for clearance is MS-DOS....
the funniest part is she was saying that our ms Centrino will not know about this system and if she did know, MS DOS will knock into the wall...
guess what.. i was only asking half way and Centrino happily inform she knows about the thumb scan system.. haha.. you should have see the facial expression of MS-DOS.. it was so funny!!! Me and pentium 4 was trying our best not to burst out laughing but we failed... hahaaaa.... i kept saying that we should downgrade MS-DOS but MS-DOS objected as she pointed out that there's a lot of things she knows but Centrino dunno... hahaa....
it's always quite ideal to have a bunch of colleagues who you can talk to/chat/have fun/ go out... it makes office life... much interesting and colorful..
recently.. we went to sakae sushi for ladies night at airport... the original location was not there but tks to our office's LG, we have to go over there for a very stupid case.. actually is MS DOS needs to go but it's not fair to go ahead with the dinner without her.... haha.. see.. we are all so sweet... no pictures for the food we ate as we were all so hungry that we attacked the food once it was placed on the table.. hehee... anyway.. the whole meal was about 150 bucks spilt by 4 ladies this time as it was suppose to be a "farewell" dinner for pentium 3. act act only la.. we meeting again next month and and the following and the following... you get my drift...
will be attending the commencement dinner on 8 july with the ladies from GO.. able to drag centrino and pentium to go with me but MS DOS bo bian.. can only apply permit once every month. so for the sake of july's ladies night.. she has to forgo this dinner anyway.. she's not really interested in this kinda event.. so she also dun really mind... haha...
i think i have a major shoes problem this week .. seems like every single pair of shoes i own intend to piss me off by snapping in the middle of nowhere.. i was saved by pentium 3 on wed den save by the extra pair of shoes i put in my bag on thurs.. and guess what today.. another snapping incident but not so bad.. still wearable but i kept having this feeling that it may snap sooner or later.. muz hurry go home to change ... waiting for centrino hubby to come to send me to harbour front station....
talking bout him....
man.. he's the ideal hubby for any ladies out there...
who will not want a hubby who is attentive at all times, protective, loving, have almost endless patience, do housework without grumbling till no end, take care of the family, treasure u, make you feel you are special always.. etc.... that's centrino's hubby...
i kept asking her where did she find this good guy.. we were always saying that one fine day, she should scan the hubby, duplicate one , edit the years to fit to mine.... haha..
but... centrino DOES deserve her hubby.. they juz made the perfect couple.. makes me think that there may be guys who are not so .. well... "GUYS" and "GAYS" out there....
not.. i can only envy.... gtg.... i am sleepily and desperately needing the washroom ....

this is fucking ridiculous....
the bloody cabbage go and act pitiful in front of BC which i kanna shoot by him last night for being the big bad wolf!
bloody hell!!!
so now i'm the evil one!!!!
was so piss off that i hang up on him and called EL which try to talk sense into me but i was so bloody piss off that he kanna hang up by me too... opps... i din mean it.. i did msg to apology later on..... and promise him a nice apple strudel which i know he, same as me, cannot resist! haha...
anyway.. back to the bloody cabbage...
i was really too damm piss that i sent a sms to inform them i dun care and dun bother bout the fucking project and i got BJ so confused that he msg me to find out which i told him exactly what happened.. well.. he told me dun bother and care bout the cabbage and just concentrate on what we got to do.. no point being so piss off.... think of it... i should not be that piss off and do thing so harsh... fell into the cabbage's trap - stupid me!
den after that i have a talk with BC who was also damm piss with me and i think i nearly hang up his call again but stop my self in time.. phew~~~
den realize cabbage misunderstood what we were trying to tell her.. to be exact, she shut down her hearing system once i told her certain words like - discuss/what to do etc...
next time.. if anymore going to jump into any bloody conclusion again without clarafication.. i will make sure that person is dead meat...
dun ever try to piss someone off when she/he is simply just trying to be nice to you when all of us know that you are being......... irritating beyond words.
oh... BC comes out with this very funny theory:
me - zookeeper
BJ - zoo owner
BC - trainer
cabbage - lion
as the zookeeper, zoo owner and trainer are all human, the lion cannot understand a single word we were saying thus it ran out of the cage and anyhow roar and bite ppl. so.. it's the trainer job to try to tame the lion first in order to stop it from biting other innocent human being for our upcoming circus performance. but the keeper and owner also have to do their part in taming the poor lion.
i dunno how he came out with this theory but it's really funny when he said it.. hahaaa. i was laughing like mad......
understatement.... get this project over and done with peacefully and get her out of my sight when this module cleared.
